Dr. Faiza Khurshid is a Neonatologist and Clinical director of NICU at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto specializing in healthcare quality, patient safety, and medical education. She completed her Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship at the University of Toronto and holds a Master’s in Healthcare Quality from Queen’s University.
Dr. Khurshid’s distinguished career includes serving as an Associate Professor and Interim Head of Pediatrics at Queen’s University, as well as Medical Director and Division Chief of the NICU at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for 8 years before Joining Mount Sinai. An active researcher and has published widely and contributed to the national CanMEDS curriculum toolkits for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
