With formal lectures, interactive cases, and live imaging demonstrations of both normal and abnormal fetal hearts this course is sure to sure to be engaging. Course Description
This 2-day conference will provide a comprehensive overview of fetal cardiovascular medicine with presentations covering the latest in fetal cardiac imaging, diagnosis, and management. The conference will begin with techniques to optimize assessment of the fetal heart before delving into how to diagnose both common and uncommon fetal cardiac diseases, from congenital heart disease to tumors. The lectures will follow a segmental approach, with live scanning and interactive sessions to reinforce the content. The second day will address fetal cardiac intervention, fetal arrhythmias, and the fetal brain-heart-placenta axis, including the evolving role of fetal MRI. In the final session, specific types of congenital heart disease will be highlighted and discussed, from imaging to counseling, by a multi-disciplinary panel of experts. The faculty is comprised of local, national, and international experts in their field.

Physicians, sonographers, nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals in the fields of paediatric cardiology, fetal echocardiography, obstetric ultrasound, radiology, obstetrics, and neonatology. The information presented will be of benefit to those caring for fetuses and/or neonates with cardiac disease or for those who plan to embark on and advance fetal ultrasonography in their career.
